Bob Eichem is the internal financial advisor in the city manager’s office for the City of Boulder, Colorado.  He was the CFO for the city from 2005–2016 before moving into his current role. Bob has over 39 years of experience as a finance officer in local government.  He is a past member of the GFOA Board of Directors, served as GFOA president in 2014-15, and is currently a member of the standing committee on debt. His work in the areas of leadership, long range financial planning, financial policies, financial resilience and sustainability are ongoing and a passion he continues to pursue and enjoys sharing with his peers.
